Casa CreSer: A New Chapter, New Opportunities
Our mission to protect and expand opportunities for children and young people continues, now with a focus on taking action before risks and inequalities limit their possibilities of building fulfilling lives.
After identifying priority needs and establishing valuable partnerships in San Mateo and Orotina, Alajuela, we are beginning a new chapter of prevention and community transformation.
On October 23, we launched our new program:
Red de Dínamos: Children and Youth in Action
What is Red de Dínamos?
It is a network of children and young people who discover their abilities and learn to become agents of positive change in their lives and communities.
We believe in their talents, their ideas, and their ability to transform their reality.
Organized into groups called Dínamos, participants investigate challenges in their surroundings, propose solutions, and develop concrete projects. Adults provide guidance and support, while the participants take the initiative, make decisions, and learn by doing.
What Do We Want to Achieve?
To prevent risks associated with violence, drug use, and school dropout by expanding opportunities to build positive life plans.
To achieve this, we strengthen essential skills such as self-confidence, critical thinking, emotional regulation, peaceful coexistence, leadership, and conscious decision-making.
We want young people to believe in themselves, find purpose in their lives, and discover that they can build a different future.
Learning by Doing, Growing with Others
The Network is based on three essential ideas:
- Youth empowerment: Young people do not wait for solutions; they learn to create them.
- The ability to transform: Each Dínamo discovers that they can bring about real change in their surroundings.
- Co-inclusion: Young people from different backgrounds share their talents, learn from one another, and build relationships based on respect and collaboration.
Our principle is simple: WE ALL GIVE, WE ALL RECEIVE.
A Network That Begins to Grow
The first experience begins in the community of Santa Rita, where a group of children and young people will develop their own project. From there, we aspire to build a network that connects young people from different communities, cultures, and life circumstances.
We believe that our differences can either divide us or enrich us. We choose to turn them into opportunities to learn together, strengthen equity, build genuine connections, and bring about transformations that go beyond each participant and reach their communities.
When we believe in the abilities of every child and young person, we open pathways for their dreams to become actions and for their actions to transform communities.
We will continue sharing our progress and new opportunities to participate.

Casa CreSer: una nueva etapa, nuevas oportunidades
Nuestra misión de proteger y ampliar las oportunidades de la niñez y la juventud continúa, ahora con una mirada que busca actuar antes de que los riesgos y las desigualdades limiten sus posibilidades de construir una vida plena.
Tras identificar necesidades prioritarias y establecer valiosas alianzas en San Mateo y Orotina de Alajuela, iniciamos una nueva etapa de prevención y transformación comunitaria.
El 23 de octubre damos vida a nuestro nuevo programa:
Red de Dínamos – Niñez y Juventud en Acción
¿Qué es la Red de Dínamos?
Es una red de niñas, niños y jóvenes que descubren sus capacidades y aprenden a convertirse en protagonistas de cambios positivos en sus vidas y comunidades.
Creemos en sus talentos, sus ideas y su capacidad para transformar la realidad.
Organizados en grupos llamados Dínamos, los participantes investigan desafíos de su entorno, proponen soluciones y desarrollan proyectos concretos. Los adultos acompañan y facilitan, mientras ellos toman la iniciativa, deciden y aprenden haciendo.
¿Qué queremos lograr?
Prevenir riesgos asociados a la violencia, el consumo de drogas y la deserción escolar, ampliando las oportunidades para construir proyectos de vida positivos.
Para ello, fortalecemos habilidades esenciales como la confianza en sí mismos, el pensamiento crítico, la gestión emocional, la convivencia pacífica, el liderazgo y la toma consciente de decisiones.
Queremos jóvenes que crean en sí mismos, encuentren propósito en sus vidas y descubran que pueden construir un futuro diferente.
Aprender haciendo, crecer con otros
La Red se fundamenta en tres ideas esenciales:
- Protagonismo juvenil: los jóvenes no esperan soluciones; aprenden a crearlas.
- Capacidad para transformar: cada Dínamo descubre que puede generar cambios reales en su entorno.
- Co-inclusión: jóvenes de diferentes realidades comparten sus talentos, aprenden unos de otros y construyen relaciones de respeto y colaboración.
Nuestro principio es sencillo: TODOS DAMOS, TODOS RECIBIMOS.
Una red que empieza a CreSer
La primera experiencia comienza en la comunidad de Santa Rita, donde un grupo de niñas, niños y jóvenes desarrollará su propio proyecto. Desde allí aspiramos a construir una red que conecte jóvenes de distintas comunidades, culturas y oportunidades de vida.
Creemos que nuestras diferencias pueden enfrentarnos o enriquecernos. Elegimos convertirlas en oportunidades para aprender juntos, fortalecer la equidad, construir vínculos genuinos y generar transformaciones que trasciendan a cada participante y lleguen a sus comunidades.
Cuando creemos en las capacidades de cada niña, niño y joven, abrimos rutas para que sus sueños se conviertan en acciones y sus acciones transformen comunidades.
