Dear friends, allies, and collaborators,
Over the past year, Casa CreSer has worked with great dedication to strengthen the organization and expand its capacity to provide opportunities for children and adolescents living in vulnerable conditions. In this process, we designed a program for adolescent mothers and their children and advanced responsibly toward its implementation.
However, the financial context made it unfeasible to continue this residential project. After a thorough process of analysis and reflection, and while maintaining our unwavering commitment to the children and youth of Costa Rica, the General Assembly resolved to redirect the Association’s efforts toward a more sustainable and efficient model of work.
The experience gained and the strategic alliances currently being established open a new chapter for Casa CreSer. Through a model of comprehensive accompaniment, we will promote educational reinforcement programs, life-skills training, and initiatives for the promotion and protection of children’s rights. These efforts will strengthen their personal and social capacities, enabling them to develop their own life projects.
As part of this evolution, Casa CreSer will relocate its operations to the cantons of San Mateo and Orotina. From there, we will begin working with a network of alliances that includes educational centers, public institutions, and community organizations.
Together, we are building a platform of programs and methodologies that optimize resources, significantly reduce operating costs, and progressively expand the reach of our initiatives.
We are pleased to share that we organized the distribution of three lots of school supplies, clothing, shoes, baby items, toys, and other donated goods to: Escuela La Abuela in Tambor, the Bello Horizonte Development Association, and the Early Childhood Care Network in Santa Teresa. We will continue to organize donations, ensuring the responsible use and appropriate destination of each item.
Thanks to your support, it has been possible to reach this point and to take this new step with responsibility, experience, and the confidence that we are building a stronger and more sustainable stage to fulfill our mission.

Estimadas amigas y amigos, aliados y colaboradores:
Durante el último año, Casa CreSer ha trabajado con gran dedicación para fortalecer la organización y ampliar su capacidad de brindar oportunidades a la niñez y la adolescencia en situación de vulnerabilidad. En este proceso diseñamos el programa para madres adolescentes con sus hijas(os) y avanzamos con el proceso para este fin.
No obstante, el contexto financiero hizo inviable la continuidad de este proyecto residencial. Tras un proceso de análisis y reflexión responsable y manteniendo intacto nuestro compromiso con la población infantil y adolescente de Costa Rica, la Asamblea General acordó orientar la labor de la Asociación hacia una forma de trabajo más sostenible y eficiente.
La experiencia adquirida y las alianzas estratégicas que actualmente se están constituyendo, abren una nueva etapa para Casa CreSer. Con un modelo de acompañamiento integral, impulsaremos programas de refuerzos educativos, de formación para la vida y de promoción y garantía de derechos de la niñez, fortaleciendo sus capacidades personales y sociales para que desarrollen sus proyectos de vida.
Como parte de esta evolución, Casa CreSer trasladará su centro de operaciones a los cantones de San Mateo y Orotina, desde donde inicia su trabajo con una red de alianzas con centros educativos, entidades publicas y organizaciones comunitarias con quienes se está estructurando una plataforma de programas y metodologías que permiten optimizar recursos, reducir significativamente los costos operativos y ampliar progresivamente el alcance de los programas.
Les compartimos que organizamos la entrega de 3 lotes con útiles escolares, ropa, zapatos, artículos para bebés, juguetes y otros artículos que la Asociación había recibido de donaciones a las siguientes entidades de la zona: Escuela la Abuela – Tambor, Asociación de Desarrollo Bello Horizonte y Red de cuido de primera infancia en Santa Teresa. Continuaremos organizando donaciones, procurando el buen uso y destino de cada artículo.
Gracias a ustedes ha sido posible llegar hasta aquí y dar este nuevo paso con responsabilidad, experiencia y la confianza de que estamos construyendo una etapa más sólida y sostenible para cumplir nuestra misión.
